Tanya has held creative positions at FLARE, Weddingbells, enRoute and Toronto Life magazines. She pioneered flare.com, the first online fashion and beauty website in Canada and launched the first Canadian fashion publication iPad app for FLARE, directing the brand's digital issues monthly. Tanya maintained her position as FLARE's Art Director for 17 consecutive years before joining Judy Inc as a freelance Creative Director, specializing in retail. Numerous best-cover, best-art direction and gold awards from the Advertising and Design Club of Canada, National Magazine Awards and P&G Beauty Awards, attest to her art direction skills.
Tanya has worked with several A-list celebrities: Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce, Keira Knightly, Julianne Moore, Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Lawrence, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Emma Watson, Zooey Deschanel, Michael Bublé, Wayne & Paulina Gretzky and many international top models: Daria, Jessica Stam, Heather Marks, Linda Evangelista, Coco Rocha, Alana Zimmer, Doutzen Kroes and Sasha Pivovarova for FLARE’s best selling covers.
Tanya is a regular consultant for the National Magazine Awards and the Advertising
and Design Club of Canada and is a contract lecturer at Ryerson University.
